A scanner`s firmware should only be upgraded when necessary to solve a problem or acquire new functionality.Our current firmware versions are:Scanner 1500 v1.52.Scanner 2500 v1.52.Scanner 1500/2500 Imprinter v1.06.To install these you`ll need our Low Volume Firmware Downloader.After saving the downloader on your hard disk, run the firmware exe files to extract them. Make sure your scanner is powered on and ready. Then run the Dlpro32k_ltd executable. The firmware files have a .sum extension. Open the appropriate one. After it loads completely, transfer the file to scanner. Do not turn off the pc or the scanner while the transfer is in progress. After transfer has completed the scanner will reinitialize. Wait for it to complete and confirm it is in the ready state. Then click the about box in DLpro32k_ltd to a confirm successful transfer. | |
