This update also incorporates a previous firmware update which improved the SMART offline data collection process.The update program will search for every hard disk drive connected to the system (Primary Master, Primary Slave, Secondary Master, Secondary Slave) and will install the new firmware on every IBM DeskStar hard disk drive that requires it.The new firmware revision will be xxxxA5AA or xxxxA6AA, depending on which drive is installed in the system. |
