This downloadable version is bundled with a trial version of MyScript® Notes for the io Pen - a handwriting conversion software. With this application installed, the handwriting captured (including shapes, tables, and charts) by the io digital pen can be easily converted into digital text. Additional Requirements Before installing the Logitech io software, you must have the following software packages on your system. These packages were included on your original Logitech io Software CD-ROM, but are not included in this download in order to keep the file size to a minimum. Internet Explorer® 5.0.1 or higher Microsoft® .NET framework 1.1 (20 Mb) For instructions on installing these packages from your software CD-ROM, see the Installation Notes below. For the Japanese version of MouseWare, click here. MouseWare uses a CHM-based Help file and Internet Explorer 4.01 or higher must be installed to view the Help file correctly. If you are using a release prior to 4.01, please upgrade your version of Internet Explorer from the Microsoft web site. NOTES: If you use a Cordless Desktop keyboard that uses iTouch™ software and you are upgrading MouseWare, it is recommended you also upgrade to the latest version of iTouch. The F1 - F12 button assignments have been removed. These can now be programmed (as well as many other keys) using the new `Keystroke` button assignment. MouseWare does NOT currently support Windows Server® 2003. Your Logitech pointing device will function with its native drivers. Serial Mice users under Windows XP and 2000: MouseWare does not support any serial pointing devices. A Logitech mouse connected to the serial port will function with native drivers, but it will not be displayed in the MouseWare control center and you will not be able to program the buttons. C-Series device users: C-Series mice are not supported under Windows XP, Windows 2000 or Windows ME when connected to the serial port. C-Series devices can be identified by the following model numbers (M/N), located on the bottom of the device: T-CA1, C7, CA, CC, and CE. Please note the CA and the CE are combination devices and will function on the PS/2 port. |
